So you’ve just discovered that you’re appointed a trustee, a personal representative, executor or a power of attorney. Eeeek! These aren’t things you’ve been taught to do and yet, some poor soul thought you should serve in a fiduciary capacity. Now what? Attorney Julie Rivers will take you through what it means to be fiduciary and how best to navigate what can be treacherous waters.

Julie Rivers, a TAN member for 7 years, is an experienced lawyer who practices family law and estate planning, probate and all of the litigation, settlement and consultation that surrounds those subjects. She is a frequent lecturer to lawyers and lay persons alike on the topics of estate planning and probate.
